2004年7月14移民部长颁布了在偏远地区读书二年以上的毕业生申请技术移民时可以获加五分的新名单，现详列如下:

1.新州
Sydney在Darwin，One Tree Island-Great Barrier Reef (近Herron Island) 及Orange的院校;
Charles Sturt在Albury Wodonga，Bathurst，Broken Hill，Dubbo，Goulburn及Wagga Wagga的院校;
Southern Cross在Darwin，One Tree Island-Great Barrier Reef (近Herron Island) 及Orange的院校;
New England在Armidale及Coffs Harbour的院校;
Wollongong在Batemans Bay，Bega及Nowra的院校;
TAFE 的Illawarra，New England North Coast, Riverina 及Western各院校；

2.维州
Australian Catholic University在Ballarat的院校;
Melbourne在Creswick，Dookie，Gilbert Chandler，Glenormiston，Longerong及McMillan的院校;
Deakin在Geelong, Geelong Waterfront及Warrnambool的院校;
La Trobe在Albury Wodonga，Beechworth，Bendigo，Mildura，Mt Butler及Shepparton的院校;
Monash 在Gippsland (Churchill) 的院校;
RMIT在East Gippsland及Hamilton的院校;
Ballarat在Ararat，Horsham，Mt. Helen，SMB (Ballarat) 及Stawell的院校;
Holmes Commercial College 在Cairns的院校;
Marcus Oldham College在Waurn Ponds的院校;
TAFE 的Wodonga，Bendigo, Chisholm 及Gordon各院校；

3. 昆州
Central Queensland在Bundaberg，Emerald，Gladstone，Mackay及Rockhampton的院校;
James Cook在Cairns (Smithfield) 及Townsville的院校;
Queensland在Gatton的院校;
Southern Queensland在Toowoomba及Wide Bay (Hervey Bay) 的院校;
Sunshine Coast在Maroochydore及Sippy Downs的院校;
TAFE 的Barrier Reef，Central Queensland, Cooloola Sunshine,Wide Bay, Tropical North Queensland及Southern Queensland各院校；

4. 西澳
Curtin在Esperance，Kalgoorlie及Muresk的院校;
Edith Cowan在Bunbury的院校;
Notre Dame在Broome的院校;
TAFE 的Central West College，CY O’Oconnor, Eastern Pilbara,Great Southern, Kimberley College, West Pilbara College及South West Regional College各院校；及

5.南澳、塔士曼尼亚和北领地所有的专上学院。
